Overview

In this role you will support the EMEA Regulatory Compensation team to ensure compensation practices meet UK/EU regulatory requirements. You will engage with multiple stakeholders across HR, Legal, Risk and Compliance to deliver accurate reporting, MRT identification, and governance. The role combines regulatory insight with data-driven analysis and process improvements, offering exposure to cross-border compensation governance. You will help shape compliant, transparent compensation processes while contributing to a collaborative, performance‑driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Material Risk Takers (MRTs)
  • Support regulatory remuneration reporting and disclosures with data prep, analysis and validation
  • Assist with year-end compensation processes (deferrals, variable-to-fixed ratios) including audits and controls
  • Develop knowledge of UK/EU compensation regulations and their practical impact
  • Prepare materials for EMEA remuneration committees and boards
  • Collaborate on regulatory compensation projects, including automation initiatives
  • Ensure governance, controls, and documentation for compliance assessments
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects within the EMEA Compensation & Benefits team

Key requirements

  • Compensation experience in a large multinational financial services environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
  • Curiosity about UK/EU remuneration regulations
  • Sound judgment with independent delivery capability
  • Effective collaboration across geographically distributed teams
  • Proven project management and organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with large, complex datasets
  • Clear, concise communication translating data into insights
  • Stakeholder engagement with a collaborative, results-focused approach
  • Commercial awareness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Prior exposure to UK/EU regulatory compensation is advantageous
