Cyber Security Delivery Support

Overview

In this role you support the delivery of cyber security priorities across the division, coordinating actions and governance with Cyber Security Delivery Partners and central teams. You’ll help embed security requirements across divisions, monitor progress, and support remediation and reporting. The position blends delivery focus with risk and stakeholder coordination to ensure initiatives stay aligned with university priorities. This is a core, cross-functional role within Digital and Information Services that impacts how security is implemented at scale. You will work in a collaborative, learning-focused environment with meaningful impact on the university’s cyber resilience.

Responsibilities

• track actions and maintain governance and reporting for cyber security delivery
• support remediation activities
• assist embedding security requirements into divisions, departments, and technology areas
• ensure cyber security initiatives are organized, visible, and progressing
• support meetings, reporting, risk and issue tracking, and follow-up actions with cross-functional teams

Key requirements

• Experience in cyber security, information security, technology, risk, compliance, or project/support roles
• Good organisational skills and ability to track multiple actions and priorities
• Understanding of cyber security, risk governance, or control concepts
• Ability to work with different stakeholders and communicate clearly
• Strong attention to detail and proactive follow-through
• Relevant qualifications or certifications such as CISM, CISMP, Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation, or similar are desirable
