Overview

In this VAT advisory role you help clients navigate complex VAT issues within a private equity–backed mid-tier firm. You work closely with clients in the property and not-for-profit sectors, contributing to multiple assignments across sectors. You will learn from experienced VAT technicians and develop your craft in a supportive, professional environment. You join a team that values clear communication and collaboration to deliver high-quality VAT advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory VAT support to clients across sectors (notably property and not-for-profit)
• Address complex VAT topics such as reliefs, partial exemption and recovery methods
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders; work as a strong team player
• Contribute to the development of VAT solutions and best practices within the firm

Key requirements

• Advisory VAT background gained in a UK professional services firm
• Solid knowledge of complex VAT areas (reliefs, partial exemption, recovery methods)
