Salaried GP (Upper Gordon Road Surgery)

Overview

In this role you will provide high-quality primary care to registered and temporary patients within a long-established Camberley practice, collaborating with a supportive clinical team. You will manage a diverse caseload, participate in practice activities, and help drive service development within a GP Federation network. The post offers growth through a training environment, opportunities to specialise, and involvement in community clinics. A flexible rota with up to 8 sessions per week and Tuesday availability anchors your schedule, contributing to safe, patient-centered care at scale.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients via in-person, telephone, and home visits
• Review and action clinical reports and DocMan messages
• Prescribe per formulary and ensure safe prescribing
• Refer to secondary care when appropriate
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous notes and data for audits
• Participate in practice meetings and contribute to service development
• Support and supervise learning within a training practice
• Undertake routine administrative tasks to manage workload efficiently

Key requirements

• Medical Degree
• GMC fully registered
• Medical indemnity
• Active on the Performers List
• Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (role-specific)
• Good IT literacy (MS Office, EMIS, results/request systems)
• Experience with clinical audit or service improvement
• Ability to work in a rota, travel by car, and flexible hours
