Machining Innovation Lead – Subtractive Tech (Hybrid)

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Principal Research Engineer to act as Work Stream Lead for Subtractive Technology (Machining) at the Global Technology Centre in Bristol. The role combines technical leadership with line management of the machining team and responsibility for budgets, schedules and risk.

You will drive development of machining technology from TRL3 to TRL6, ensure high-quality documentation and governance, and deliver outcomes to operational sites across GKN.
