Temporary Position | MondayFriday | 7:00am3:00pm

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in preparing and serving meals to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation and serving meals.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas clean and tidy.
• Help with setting up and clearing tables.
• Store food and kitchen supplies safely.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Support the catering team during busy lunchtime periods.
• Help ensure students are served meals in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Carry out other general kitchen duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen or catering experience is preferred.
• A valid DBS check is preferred.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. xwwtmva
• Experience working in a school or childcare environment would be an advantage.
