Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a childs education?
Do you have a passion for providing 1:1 support to children with special educational needs and supporting the wider classroom environment?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team. You will provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs, while also assisting with general classroom duties to help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide focused 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and develop key skills
- Assist the class teacher with general classroom activities and behaviour management
- Support the childs social, emotional, and academic development
- Help adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs
- Promote independence and confidence in the child supported
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff
Experience And Skills Required
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly providing 1:1 support
- Understanding of SEN needs and strategies to support learners
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance
- A DBS check on the Update Service or willingness
