Implementation Project Manager

Overview

In this role you drive IT project delivery for a fast-growing fintech client, balancing client-facing communications with execution. You oversee budgets, resources, and external partners while coordinating cross-functional teams. You’ll manage both ongoing client modifications and a new greenfield B2C wealth management platform, shaping usability and delivery at scale. You work closely with sponsors and senior stakeholders to ensure commitments are met and value is realized.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects and ensure project commitments are met
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders across the organization
• Oversee project budget and allocate technical resources from internal teams, external suppliers and consultants
• Coordinate scheduling and reporting for external clients
• Lead external client projects and oversee coordination of technical experts
• Speak with developers to align technical work with project goals
• Distill complex technical information for senior management
• Foster team development and manage a small- to mid-size project team

Key requirements

• 3-6 years of experience as a project manager
• Technical background with ability to converse with developers
• Experience in a small firm or vendor environment
• Scheduling and reporting skills
• Experience running external client projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels
• People management and team coordination experience
• Experience working with external third-party suppliers and clients
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages
• Inquisitive nature with ability to escalate issues
• Ideally Wealth Management experience
