Overview
Imperial aims to advance AI in education through CALT, a three-year transformation initiative. In this role you will run CALT’s day-to-day administration and operational management, establishing policies to support the Director and leadership. You will coordinate recruitment, manage the budget, and oversee governance activities across the centre. The position is central to building CALT as part of Imperial’s education infrastructure, with broad interaction across faculties and professional services. You will help shape how AI is integrated into teaching and the student experience at a world-leading institution.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day administration and operations of CALT
- Establish administrative policies and processes to support leadership
- Coordinate recruitment activities for CALT
- Manage budget and financial governance
- Coordinate governance activities and liaise across Academic and Professional Services staff
- Interact with staff at all levels to support centre lifecycle
- Support the Director and leadership team in building CALT within Imperial’s education infrastructure
Key requirements
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan, prioritise and adapt with minimal supervision
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Experience delivering organisation of ~25 FTE and 50+ embedded departmental champions
- Experience in higher education
- Interest in AI as it relates to learning, teaching and student experience
- Ideally experience in project leadership
