Our client is looking for a reliable and hands‑on Forklift Operatorto join their busy team. This is a varied role combining yard duties, goods in and goods out, quality checking, packaging and general warehouse support.
The successful candidate will be organised and comfortable working as part of a friendly team. Full training will be provided on the quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting goods in and goods out processes
- Packaging and preparing completed projects for customers
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products following training
- Working from engineering drawings and completing relevant documentation
- Preparing full pallet listings and keeping project records up to date
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift where required
- Supporting stock and consumable control
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Providing occasional cover at another local warehouse site when required
Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Previous experience within a yard, warehouse, steelwork or similar environment would be advantageous
- Forklift licence is essential
- Ability to understand engineering drawings would be beneficial, although training can be provided
- Good IT skills
- Comfortable carrying out some heavy lifting
- Flexible and able to manage changing priorities
