About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead their culinary and service teams at a premier establishment in Randburg . This crucial role involves overseeing all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banqueting, ensuring exceptional quality, service, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for hospitality, a keen understanding of culinary trends, and proven leadership skills to motivate a diverse team. You will be instrumental in shaping the dining experience for guests in a bustling Gauteng hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of food and beverage operations, including menu development, procurement, inventory control, and service standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of service staff, chefs, and bartenders to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize sales, profitability, and operational efficiency within the F&B department.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and control costs related to food, beverage, and supplies.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction across all touchpoints.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Food & Beverage Management role, preferably within a hotel or upscale restaurant setting.
• Proven track record in managing multiple F&B outlets and driving profitability.
• Strong knowledge of culinary arts, beverage programs, and service techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operational demands.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous.
