Looking for a role where you can get involved in a varied project portfolio rather than working on the same type of application week after week?

We’re working with an established planning consultancy in Cambridge that is looking to add an experienced Town Planner to its growing team.
What will you be doing?n
You’ll have exposure to a broad range of planning work, including:

- n
- Preparing and submitting planning applications
- Providing planning advice to private and commercial clients
- Managing projects from inception through to determination
- Undertaking planning appraisals and policy assessments
- Liaising with local authorities and external consultants
- Supporting the development of junior members of the team

What are they looking for?n
The consultancy is open-minded on experience, but ideally you’ll have around 3–6 years’ experience within the UK planning sector.
n
You’ll need a good understanding of the planning system, strong written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to manage your own workload and client relationships.
n
RTPI accreditation or active progress towards chartership would be advantageous.
