Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Land & Planning Manager to join an established residential developer, working on the identification, promotion and delivery of residential sites across the North West.

This could be an excellent step-up opportunity for someone with around 2–5 years’ experience from a planning consultancy, housebuilder, developer or strategic land background who wants to develop their commercial experience and take greater ownership of projects.

The Role
n
You’ll be involved across the full strategic land and planning process, including:

- n
- Identifying and assessing potential residential development opportunities.
- Undertaking site appraisals and supporting land acquisitions.
- Promoting strategic sites through the Local Plan process.
- Coordinating and managing planning applications.
- Working closely with external planning and technical consultants.
- Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders.
- Supporting planning strategy and helping progress sites towards delivery.
- Gaining exposure to land, planning, development viability and commercial decision-making.

About You
n
You’ll ideally have 2–5 years’ planning experience within a consultancy, developer, housebuilder or strategic land environment.
n
You don’t need to already be operating at Manager level. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Planner or Senior Planner looking to step up, broaden their strategic land experience and move closer to the commercial side of residential development.
