Mechanical Engineer (All Levels)

Overview

In this role you will lead and support the delivery of medium to large-scale building services projects from concept to completion, collaborating within integrated design teams. You will act as a technical representative, driving design quality, programme, and budget adherence while engaging clients. You will contribute to sustainable, low-energy building solutions and work across sectors to shape impactful facilities. Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and delivery of building services projects from concept through to handover
• Prepare technical specifications, schedules, reports and design documentation
• Attend client and project meetings, acting as a key technical representative
• Produce feasibility studies, planning reports and detailed design information
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across a variety of sectors
• Support the delivery of sustainable, low-energy building solutions

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience delivering building services designs across healthcare, education, science, defence or commercial projects
• Strong technical design capabilities including calculations, specifications and technical reporting
• Experience managing projects through all design stages
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills
• Working knowledge of Revit and CAD software
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous
