We’d like you to join us as a Senior Healthcare support worker at our service Bethany House & Lodge in Dymchurch.
At Bethany Lodge, we provide support for young adults with a neurological conditions in a residential home, helping to promote independence and maintain a high standard of both physical and mental wellbeing. Were committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.
What you’ll be working:
Your hours are based on a rota working every other weekend.
- Full time hours – 42 Hours a week. 1 x night shift.
- £32,521.59 (FTE) per annum pro rata
- 20:00 to 08:15 worked as 36/48 or 42/42 (3×12 & 1×6) over 2 weeks- night shift
- 25 pence an hour uplift for night hours.
- Experience in care is required
- Role will be shared between both the House and The Lodge.
What you’ll be doing:
- Effectively lead the shift by ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
- Shift/people management.
- Addressing staff issues such as timekeeping and attendance in a timely manner.
- Conducting regular supervisions for staff team
- Ensure that each service user has a key worker and that all aspects of the key worker role is implemented. xwwtmva
- Ensure that all service users have up-to-date risk assessments and person-centered plans in place and review and update as required with the service manager.
