We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cleaner to provide a professional cleaning service across our campus facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that classrooms, offices and public areas are maintained to a high standard, creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. Working as part of the Facilities Cleaning Services team, you will undertake a range of cleaning duties, operate cleaning equipment and support the upkeep of college facilities while following safe working practices at all times. - Clean classrooms, offices, public areas and sanitary facilities to a high standard.
- Clean the fabric of buildings, including fixtures, furniture and floor coverings.
- Move chairs, desks and other furniture as required to support cleaning activities.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and scrubbers safely and effectively.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and consumables are used safely and stored correctly.
- Carry out routine maintenance checks on cleaning equipment.
- Report defects, maintenance issues or concerns to the Estates Helpdesk.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
