Key Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Health & Safety policies and proceduresAdvise managers and staff on H&S compliance and best practiceConduct regular site inspections and produce improvement action plansInvestigate accidents, incidents and near-misses, identifying root causesMonitor compliance with UK Health & Safety legislationManage statutory safety inspectionsDeliver inductions, toolbox talks and H&S training sessionsMaintain incident reports, COSHH records and safety documentationSupport internal and external audits with HR and Technical teamsComplete and review risk assessments for site activitiesUpdate Safe Operating Procedures and emergency proceduresLead monthly H&S committee meetings and track KPIsPromote a proactive, positive safety culture across the workforce
Essential Health & Safety Manager Experience:NEBOSH xwwtmva General Certificate (or equivalent)Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirementsDesirable Qualifications & Experience:NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & HealthIOSH MembershipExtensive and up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety legislationExperience leading audits and safety committees…
