Overview:
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic national construction business who are looking to recruit a Temporary Works Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth based at either their Workington depot.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Detail design of temporary works or simple permanent worksManagement of internal and external designersManagement of temporary works proceduresIndependent technical review, HAZARD and Risk ReviewImplement necessary proceduresLiaison with Principal Designer and DesignersLearning from Experience, Safety in Design and best practiceManage change control proceduresInternal and external progress reportingParticipation in Temporary Works Forum and other related organisations
Skills and Qualifications:
Understanding and working knowledge of construction methods, materials and design processes12 months experience completing designs within a consultancy or temporary works design departmentMember of an appropriate professional institution e.g. MICE. xwwtmva Ability to deputise for the Principal Engineer if required.Understands the Principal Designer Duties including ERIC
