The Opportunity
Paradigm Employment Services is recruiting an experienced Project Manager
Interior Fit-Out on behalf of an established specialist fit-out contractor based in Hampshire.The company delivers high-quality interior fit-out, refurbishment and turnkey projects across the UK, working across sectors including retail, hospitality, leisure/wellness and commercial interiors.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover, coordinating clients, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure successful delivery.The Role
As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective delivery of fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within commercial parameters and to the required quality standards.Projects can range from high-specification interior fit-outs through to more complex refurbishment schemes incorporating enabling works, structural elements, specialist finishes and associated construction packages.Your responsibilities will include:Managing projects from mobilisation through to practical completion and handoverPlanning and monitoring project programmes, key milestones and delivery schedulesCoordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist tradesManaging day-to-day relationships with clients, consultants and other project stakeholdersEnsuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and agreed quality standardsMonitoring progress and proactively resolving programme, logistical and delivery issuesManaging site logistics and sequencing of worksCoordinating procurement and material requirements with the wider project teamMaintaining clear and regular communication regarding project progressEnsuring appropriate health & safety standards and site procedures are maintainedManaging snagging, completion and handoverWorking closely with commercial colleagues to support the successful financial delivery of projectsMaintaining appropriate project documentation and reportingAbout You
We are particularly interested in speaking with Project Managers who have experience within interior fit-out, shopfitting, refurbishment or specialist construction.You will ideally be able to demonstrate:Previous Project Management experience within interior fit-out or refurbishmentExperience delivering projects through construction, fit-out and handoverStrong understanding of site-based project deliveryExperience managing subcontractors and specialist tradesGood knowledge of construction programmes, sequencing and site logisticsAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsStrong client and stakeholder management skillsGood commercial awarenessExcellent organisation and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage demanding programmes while maintaining high standards of qualityA practical, hands-on approach to project deliveryFlexibility to travel to project sites across the UK as requiredExperience within retail, hospitality, leisure or commercial fit-out would be particularly relevant.The Company
