About the company
HireIQ are working in exclusive partnership with a thriving professional services business, as they look to appoint their first Company Accountant to build and manage their finance function, reporting to and working closely with the Directors. This is a newly created role as a result of continued growth and expansion, and represents an amazing opportunity for an ambitious, forward thinking Qualified Accountant (2-3+ years PQE) to fast-track their career with this hugely entrepreneurial, global business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving continuous improvement of systems and processes across finance as the business expands
- Oversight of financial control, reporting and compliance
- Monthly management accounts and consolidated Group reporting
- Cash flow forecasting, overseeing AP and AR, and payroll
- Liaising with relevant external stakeholders
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 2+ years post-qualified experience
- Strong financial control background
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions would be beneficial
- Experience in SAAS, professional services or a similar sector would be beneficial
- Confident communicator, able to work with senior leadership and external advisers
- Proficient with modern cloud accounting tools (e.g. Xero)
