- Manage day-to-day banking relationships and the Group’s cash position to keep liquidity objectives on track
- Keep internal controls across Tax and Treasury tight, in line with policy, regulation and good governance
- Handle intercompany funding, loan admin, interest charging and balance settlement in line with treasury policy
- Deliver the Group’s established tax strategy, including the relevant reliefs and transfer pricing arrangements that apply
- Work closely with finance managers, tax auditors and outside consultants, UK and international, on annual corporation tax computations and deferred tax schedules for the parent company and its subsidiaries

- Report on the monthly FX impact
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards
- Support the wider team through month-end, gathering data and writing up commentary
The Person

- Post-qualification experience at financial accountant level
- Real, hands-on experience preparing or reviewing tax computations and returns, plus solid knowledge of deferred tax
- Comfort coordinating with auditors, tax advisors and legal counsel
- Strong written and spoken communication, and confidence with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- The ability to build out financial plans, schedules and controls, from budgets to forecasts to profitability reporting
