UK Tax Manager, FTSE 100, London

A role has arisen in a high performing FTSE 100 business for a UK Tax Manager to support the Group Tax Director to take ownership for the Group’s corporate tax compliance and reporting obligations for the UK businesses. This is a broad role that would be ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership over processes, whilst also supporting the tax team with other projects.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Working with the outsourced provider to ensure tax compliance obligations are met
• Support the preparation and review of Group tax reporting for external reporting purposes, including assisting with year-end and interim reporting processes.
• Support the Group’s Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) framework and wider tax risk management processes
• Lead and support a variety of tax projects, working collaboratively with finance teams and other stakeholders across the business.

The business has a flexible approach to hybrid working but would like someone to come to their Central London offices 2-3 times a week. You will have a strong track record of managing compliance and reporting in the UK and ideally be qualified accountant or tax advisor.
