What you’ll be doing
- Designing, building, and maintaining Java and J2EE applications that support key business processes
- Working across the full stack on a variety of development projects
- Getting involved in solution design, technical discussions, peer reviews, and walkthroughs
- Supporting integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, and connected digital solutions
- Troubleshooting production issues and delivering solid, lasting fixes
- Writing clear documentation for handover and knowledge sharing
- Contributing to build, deployment, release, and continuous improvement practices
- Working closely with stakeholders to turn requirements into practical solutions
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 4 years’ commercial experience in Java / J2EE development, front-end and back-end
- Strong knowledge of J2EE, RESTful Web Services, xwwtmva and frameworks such as Struts
- Solid understanding of unit, integration, system, and regression testing
- Confidence with Git, SVN, and Eclipse
- A practical, collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Genuine curiosity about modern development practices and new technology
Nice to have:
- Docker or Kubernetes
- UNIX/Linux experience
- Build, configuration, and release management
- APIs and system integration experience
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure
