Test Manager

You’ll be responsible for bringing structure and accountability to the full testing lifecycle, from planning and test strategy through to UAT, defect management, quality gates and final go/no-go decisions. The role would suit someone who is comfortable operating across complex technology programmes and can confidently manage both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Key areas include:
• Leading end to end testing across multiple integrated systems
• Defining test strategy, plans, quality gates and acceptance criteria
• Managing UAT and business testing teams
• Overseeing third party and supplier QA
• Defect management, test reporting and risk mitigation
• Managing test environments, tooling and resources
• Working closely with Project Managers, BAs, developers and business stakeholders
• Ensuring testing remains aligned to wider programme timelines and objectives

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Test Management, Test Leadership or a similar position

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery
• Experience across functional and non functional testing
• Strong UAT and business testing experience
• Proven experience managing complex programmes involving multiple systems and suppliers
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Financial services experience would be particularly relevant, especially across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets or investment management, although this isn’t essential.

Preferred Skills

• Useful technical experience includes:
• eFront, DealCloud or similar investment management platforms
• Test automation across web and API technologies
