Electrical Design Engineer
Our client a leading Electrical Engineering company based in Dungannon who have continued to invest in their people and facilities who due to continued success and growth are now recruiting for a Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.
Having recruited for them in the past they are a great company to work for and you will be joining a fantastic team. They are also open to reviewing engineers who are slightly below Senior level but wanting to progress.

Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 3-phase electrical control systems
- Produce electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Preparing electrical drawings as well as general arrangement layout drawings
- Support new product development and continuous improvement projects
- Interacting with customers, mechanical engineers etc. to resolve identified issues
- Produce accurate BOMs for electrical components meeting strict deadlines
- Preparation of documentation for testing, inspecting, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Provide support to project teams for the design of parts that require electrical integration
- Assisting the team in debugging and solving any problems that may arise by debugging software and hardware
The successful candidate must have:
- Relevant electrical engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a electrical design role
- Experience with 2D and/or 3D software
- Knowledge of Autocad electrical, eplan or similar software
- Knowledge of PLCs
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
