Land Manager

Overview

In this role you will identify and secure residential development opportunities across the West of Scotland and manage acquisitions from appraisal through to completion. You will collaborate with Planning, Technical, Commercial and Construction teams to maximise value and progress opportunities. You will assess land viability, negotiate option agreements and contracts, and monitor market activity to identify future opportunities. Responsibilities

• Identify and secure residential development opportunities across the West of Scotland
• Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agents and stakeholders
• Conduct land appraisals, feasibility studies and viability assessments
• Negotiate option agreements, conditional contracts and land acquisitions
• Collaborate with Planning, Technical, Commercial and Construction teams throughout the development process
• Monitor market activity and identify future opportunities
• Present opportunities and recommendations to senior leadership

Key requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the West of Scotland land market
• Proven track record in residential land acquisition
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Experience carrying out financial appraisals and development viability assessments
• Solid understanding of planning policy and the residential development process
• Commercial awareness with ability to identify and unlock development opportunities
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent communication skills
