ImmediateConsult2Recruit are looking for an experienced Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy operation in Avonmouth, working with HGV mechanical parts.This is a blended warehouse and van role, with approximately 70% of your day spent in the warehouse and 30% carrying out van deliveries.The RoleWarehouse duties
approximately 70%:Loading and unloading HGV mechanical partsPicking and packing ordersPreparing goods for deliveryMaintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisationGeneral warehouse duties as requiredVan driving duties
approximately 30%:Multi-drop deliveries to businessesDeliveries to dealerships, garages and wholesalersEnsuring parts are delivered safely and on timeLoading and unloading the vanImportant RequirementsMust be aged 21 or overValid driving licence with no more than 3 pointsPrevious van driving experience requiredComfortable working in a role that combines warehouse work and drivingMust be able to lift up to 30KG in one goPhysically fit and prepared for an element of manual liftingReliable and punctualLifting equipment is provided where required , but there is still an element of manual lifting involved, so you must be comfortable with this.Hours & PayMonday
