We are seeking a kind, patient, and dedicated Personal Assistant to support an enthusiastic 16 year old male who is autistic and blind within his own home and within the local community.
This rewarding role focuses on helping him access the community, build social confidence, and enjoy his favorite activities both at home and outdoors. Some personal care such as toileting will be required.
We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, but patience, a positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full clean license is desirable.
This is a part time position for 5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
