Personal Assistant / Driver

I am looking for a personal assistant to assist me with getting out and about so the ability to drive is essential with an air conditioned vehicle. Various shifts available with good blocks of hours on an ad hoc basis, workers agreement issued.

Duties include:

• Other relevant duties as required
• Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
• Hygienic, tidy and well organised
• Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
• Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Honest and cheerful
• Creative
• Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
• Must be comfortable with pets
• Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
• Be cheerful and positive with a good sense of humour
• Be honest and trustworthy
• Be able to understand the needs of a disabled person
• Respect someone else’s home environment.

Additional requirements

• Non-smoker due to medical reasons
• Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission

Notes:

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required. If the role is offered on a self-employed basis, you will be responsible for the cost of your own DBS check.

Drive me in your vehicle; mileage is paid at 40p per mile with me in your car. Your car will need to be in good condition and reliable, as well as have working air conditioning.
