Personal Assistant – Galashiels – 3191

I am a lady who is bedbound and live at home with my family in Galashiels, who currently support me with my care. We are looking for a friendly and reliable Personal Assistant to join my small team and provide some additional support at weekends.

The role will involve helping with personal care, changing my bedding and supporting me to change position to keep me comfortable. This support will also give my family some valuable time for themselves.

Duties Include

• Supporting me with my personal care
• Changing my bedding
• Supporting me with turning and repositioning to keep me comfortable
• Ensuring I am comfortable and settled
• Providing friendly and respectful support
• Working as part of a team alongside my family and other PAs

Personal Attributes

I am looking for someone who is:

• Kind and caring
• Cheerful and self-motivated
• Honest, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
• Practical and patient
• A good communicator
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable around dogs and must like dogs

Hours of Work

Saturday and Sunday, 4.00pm–5.00pm

The weekend hours can shared between two PAs, so if you are only available for one of the days, please still get in touch.

Terms

• £14.05 per hour
• Mileage negotiable
• 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
• PVG and references required
