About the Role

Tempest Resourcing are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist school in Watford. The school is looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.

Experience working with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs would be highly beneficial. Candidates with an Early Years background are also encouraged to apply, particularly those with strong experience supporting children’s development and behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working as an LSA, TA or Learning Support Assistant
• SEMH experience is highly desirable
• Early Years experience would also be considered
• Patient, caring and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs
• Able to build positive relationships with children and young people
• Strong behaviour-management and communication skills
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
