Overview
As a Business Analyst in our Product workstream, you will translate business needs into actionable requirements, working with product owners and technical teams to enable delivery in a large-scale insurance programme. You’ll elicit and validate requirements, manage traceability, and support end-to-end delivery from design to implementation. Your insurance domain experience and stakeholder collaboration will help navigate ambiguity and align solutions with the product vision. This is a chance to impact major insurance initiatives within a bustling, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements for product initiatives
- Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams to align requirements with product vision and roadmap
- Support end-to-end product delivery across analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
- Translate complex business problems into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Manage and trace requirements throughout the lifecycle
- Work with technology teams to support solution design and clarify functional impacts
- Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts within a large-scale programme environment
- Support change management activities and stakeholder alignment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices and standards within the product workstream
Key requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in complex delivery environments
- Experience or knowledge of Life Insurance and Protection domains
- Proven ability to handle complex problems and ambiguity
- Experience in large-scale programmes with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Strong requirements management, documentation, and traceability
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements
- Experience in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models
