Responsibilities
- Steer international cybersecurity strategy and programs across regions, ensuring governance alignment with local requirements
- Maintain a consistent operating model for cybersecurity across jurisdictions
- Act as senior cybersecurity executive for international legal entities and country governance structures
- Lead regional transformation initiatives in emerging tech, cloud, resilience, and modernization
- Represent cybersecurity in regulatory examinations, audits, and reporting
- Foster relationships with regulators, industry bodies, and authorities
- Embed security into strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and technology modernization with regional business leaders
- Support client due diligence and strategic engagements in cybersecurity
- Promote security awareness and accountability throughout regional businesses
- Lead incident response and resilience activities; coordinate with cyber defense and TI teams during events
- Ensure regional readiness for incidents and regulatory communications during events
- Develop and guide regional cybersecurity staff; drive succession planning and talent strategies
- Build a high-performing, globally connected cybersecurity team and collaboration with enterprise security functions
Key requirements
- 15+ years in cybersecurity, technology risk, or information security
- Experience leading programs across multiple countries and regulatory regimes
- Proven engagement with regulators and executive leadership
- Background in global financial services or other highly regulated sectors
