Overview

As a Programme Manager, you will lead a large-scale, end-to-end review of the workplace booking service and steer discovery through to mobilisation. You coordinate multiple workstreams, challenge assumptions, and present recommendations to the sponsor, shaping a simpler, more efficient user experience. The role sits within a transformation programme that aims to align processes, technology, governance, and operating models with the firm’s objectives. You will work in a cross-functional, enterprise context and influence senior stakeholders to approve the programme roadmap and business case.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an enterprise-wide review of internal meeting room and desk booking, focusing on discovery and definition
  • Assess processes, tools, user journeys, governance, and operating models to improve experience and efficiency
  • Coordinate workstreams, gather evidence, challenge assumptions, and report to the sponsor
  • Develop and secure agreement for programme documentation (charter, scope, governance map, options, business case, benefits plan, roadmap, mobilisation plan)
  • Provide end-to-end leadership across discovery, assessment, target-state design, and mobilisation with clear outcomes and milestones
  • Define simplified, standardised processes to improve availability, accessibility, utilisation, and colleague experience
  • Influence senior leaders and manage multiple workstreams and third-party suppliers
  • Apply recognised programme management methods (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, Agile) and manage benefits and dependencies

Key requirements

  • Proven programme management experience delivering complex, enterprise-wide transformation
  • Experience leading end-to-end service reviews of processes, technology, data, governance, and operating models
  • Strong planning, governance, financial management, benefits management, and dependency management
  • Ability to translate discovery into target-state designs, business cases, and roadmaps
  • Analytical skills to interpret operational data and performance information
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management with senior-level credibility
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, workstreams, and external suppliers
  • Knowledge of organisational change and adoption in complex environments
