Responsibilities

• Deliver hand-on code in a multi-threaded Java environment
• Mentor and guide junior developers
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction
• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and CI-driven workflow
• Refactor code as requirements evolve and maintain a strong unit test suite
• Prototype and evangelise new technologies to shape the platform
• Lead small development teams
• Apply test-driven development and write unit tests before coding

• 4 years commercial experience
• Server side multi-threaded core Java
• JMS and asynchronous messaging architectures
• Core Java proficiency
• Spring Core, Spring Integration, Spring Batch
