We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-franchise car dealer group operating across South West England. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in providing diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services to a high standard, working within a reputable dealership in Salisbury. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair work on a range of vehicles according to manufacturer standards
- Accurately report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Workshop Controller
- Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety standards, and service procedures
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through technical expertise and professionalism
- Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations at all times
- Support team goals by working efficiently and accurately within a busy main dealer environment
Requirements:
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Alternatively, Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technicians looking to further their qualification through training
- A valid UK driving licence is essential
- Previous experience working in a main dealer or franchised environment is preferred
- Individuals with an active MOT Smart Card will be highly advantageous, though not essential
- Strong work ethic, team player, and motivated to meet targets and deliver quality work
