Lead DevOps Engineer

Overview

In this role you lead iOS DevOps across multiple teams, driving automation and CI/CD excellence to deliver high-quality features. You bridge hands-on engineering with people leadership to build a motivated team sustaining scalable, secure workflows. You collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize on-prem and cloud-related processes, aiming to improve reliability and development speed. Responsibilities

• Automation: develop and implement DevOps solutions aligned with current best practices
• Operations: streamline tooling and infrastructure to support development teams
• Service reliability: instrument monitoring for on-prem hardware and respond to issues
• Technical leadership: set strategic goals for iOS DevOps focusing on scale, efficiency, and security
• People management: 1:1 coaching, performance management, and prioritization to maximize team potential

Key requirements

• Minimum 2 years as a team lead
• 1–2 years with Xcode and Swift
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams
• Security awareness with Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with Python and Bash
• Comfort working in a cross-geographic team
• Understanding of CS fundamentals (threading, OOP) and software systems concepts (networks, firewalls, databases)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible or Puppet)
• Containerization/virtualization (Docker, Podman, VMware)
