About the Role

We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join our busy team in Coalville.

As a Food Production Operative, you will play an important role in the production and preparation of food products, working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working across ambient, chilled and frozen production areas, so applicants must be comfortable working in different temperatures.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on a food production line and assisting with the manufacturing and packing of products.
• Preparing, handling, packing and labelling food products to the required standards.
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe.
• Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Following instructions and completing tasks accurately.
• Working in ambient, chilled and frozen environments as required.
• £12.71 – £15.67 per hour, depending on shift and working area.
• Additional bonuses available for working in frozen sections.
• Full training provided.
• Opportunity to work within an established food production environment.

About You

Previous experience in food production or a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
