Clearing Full Stack Developer

Overview

As a Full Stack Developer, you will join a major greenfield programme to build a brand-new Asset Servicing platform in financial services. You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver end-to-end solutions across modern frontend, BFF, and microservices backends. The role blends hands-on development with architecture and design decisions in a hybrid London-based setup. You’ll contribute to migrating from legacy/vendor systems and help shape scalable, enterprise-grade platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver features across the full technology stack
• Build modern user interfaces using Angular (React also considered)
• Contribute to Micro Front End (MFE) architecture
• Develop Backend for Frontend (BFF) services with TypeScript/Node.js
• Develop backend services using Java and microservices
• Support migration from Java 8/11 to Java 21/23
• Develop and integrate solutions with MS SQL Server
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Support replacement and migration away from legacy and vendor platforms
• Contribute to technical design and engineering best practices

Key requirements

• Strong commercial Full Stack Development experience
• Angular experience preferred; strong React considered
• Experience with Micro Front End architectures
• TypeScript/Node.js in a BFF context
• Strong Java development experience (ideally Java 8/11)
• Experience building microservices
• Strong MS SQL Server experience
• Experience on complex enterprise-scale applications
• Knowledge of asset servicing or settlement domains is a plus
