Data Engineer

Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will drive data-powered ML solutions within a fast-growing transformation team. You’ll build robust ETL pipelines and data lakes to enable predictive insights on vacuum asset performance. You work with cross-functional partners to ensure data quality, accessibility, and scalable analytics. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines and curated datasets in a Data Lake
• Ensure pipelines are reliable, monitored, and report issues automatically
• Provide programmatic data access for Data Scientists and analytics teams
• Optimize pipeline performance and define/track key metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate SME input into data solutions
• Define data linkage requirements and quality checks for automated pre-processing
• Contribute to design discussions and code reviews to promote best practices
• Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Key requirements

• Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with cloud data platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure)
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as DataBricks
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Proactive and curious mindset with a drive to improve data solutions
