Senior Lead Software Engineer – Backend Engineering – Java/Kotlin

Overview

In this role you drive the transformation of ideas into customer-facing fintech products within the Accelerator business. You will shape scalable, secure software through thoughtful domain modeling and architecture, collaborating with cross-functional squads. You’ll tackle performance, reliability, and up-to-date technology challenges to deliver zero-downtime releases. This role blends technical leadership with a culture that values curiosity, collaboration and diversity, offering meaningful impact on real-world customers.

Responsibilities

• Apply domain modeling to build best-in-class business products
• Structure code for clarity, testability, and evolvability
• Use scalable architectural patterns to avoid single points of failure
• Develop secure code to protect customers and the platform
• Investigate and fix issues quickly to prevent recurrences
• Coordinate releases with zero downtime for end users
• Optimize data access patterns for performance
• Ensure reliability and ease of operation of systems
• Continuously update technologies and design patterns
