Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be working with Flexiform, a well-established UK furniture manufacturer, on the appointment of a brand-new Commercial Director.
This role also spans Asgard, Flexiform’s steel storage brand – a fast-growing, largely e-commerce business.
Revenue’s rebuilding, margin’s moving in the right direction, and now Flexiform want someone to professionalise the commercial side – pricing, contracts, bid quality, brand positioning. Think less “run the sales team,” more “own the commerciality of the entire business.”
What you’ll be doing:
- Getting into the detail of every bid and contract – pricing, selling, protecting the business properly
- Building a channel strategy across public sector, private sector and e-commerce
- Leading the National sales team
Who we’re looking for:
- Background in construction, fit-out, or FM – Commercial Director, Commercial Manager or Head of Sales level
- Genuinely commercial – comfortable pushing back on contract terms, not just chasing the close
- Someone who’s grafted for it, not coasted into it
- Strong enough to lead people through change, with the emotional intelligence to do it well
