Manufacturing Operative

Location: Blindley Heath, SurreySalary: A GBP 12.71 per hourVacancy Type: Full:time position, Hours of work 7:30:16:30 (28 days holiday per year (20 days + statutory))

Responsibilities Include

• Operate machinery and equipment to cut, assemble, and pack aluminium profile
• Pick, clean and pack glass panels
• Pick and pack product accessories to complete order
• Assist with dispatching orders
• Use of powered vehicles, e.g. forklift
• Assist with maintaining stock levels
• Follow processes accordingly
• Comply with Health and Safety
• Roll will involve site work and installations across the UK
• Working away on installations

Qualifications

• Evidence of a sound level of general education including GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
• Willingness to participate in further training and development opportunities

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Physical fitness : physical role with heavy lifting
• Good communication skills
• Excellent timekeeping
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Understand measurements and ability to use basic hand tools
