Senior Network Engineer

Overview

In this hybrid Senior Network / Infrastructure Engineer role, you will design, implement, and optimize critical network and infrastructure services in a large-scale enterprise environment. You will act as a senior escalation point, providing technical leadership and mentoring while resolving complex issues. You’ll influence network design and security across 7,000+ endpoints and 1,600+ Cisco devices, leveraging Cisco technologies and hybrid Azure environments. Responsibilities

• Act as senior escalation point for network and infrastructure issues
• Design, implement, maintain and optimise network and infrastructure services
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring
• Drive network design improvements and security posture
• Troubleshoot complex escalations across multiple sites
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise objectives

Key requirements

• Advanced hands-on Cisco networking experience
• Strong LAN/WLAN/WAN troubleshooting across multiple sites
• Advanced routing: BGP, EIGRP & OSPF
• Network design, implementation and optimisation
• Strong understanding of network security
• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent experience
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Wireless
• Knowledge of Cisco Firepower FMC, ISE and ISE-PIC highly desirable
• Experience with Azure / hybrid environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle complex escalations
• Previous experience providing technical leadership or mentoring
