The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to take strategic and commercial leadership responsibility across Scotland and Ireland.
This is a Sales Director-equivalent role, leading and developing a team of 5 Regional Sales professionals. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, market growth, profitability and customer development across the region.
The role would suit an established sales leader from a materials handling, forklift, industrial equipment or closely aligned B2B sector, with the commercial strength to lead a regional sales function while remaining hands-on with key customers and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 5 Regional Sales professionals.
- Develop and deliver the regional sales strategy and commercial plan.
- Own sales targets, revenue, profitability and market share.
- Drive new business, customer development and market penetration.
- Develop and maintain key customer relationships.
- Support the team with major opportunities, negotiations and high-value sales.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
- Set KPIs, review performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Produce sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management.
