Haskell / Scala Functional Programmer

Overview

In this role you will lead the core development of a new web product for a London fintech data business. You will work on a greenfield project, building internal and external applications to display and analyse complex data. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and stay abreast of the latest FP technologies. This is an opportunity to own a major project that shapes data-driven solutions for a growing client base.

Responsibilities

• Lead core development of a greenfield web product
• Build internal and external applications for data display and analytics
• Deliver high-quality, low-latency services in a multi-site setup
• Stay current with latest functional programming technologies
• Take ownership of a major project and drive technical direction

Key requirements

• Around 4 years of commercial experience
• Functional programming experience of 2+ years
• Commercial experience in Haskell or Scala
• KnockoutJS
• SQL / MySQL / NoSQL
• Clojure would be an added benefit
