Overview

In this role you will lead mechanical installation activities on a high-profile Central London project, working with the delivery team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality building services installations. You will partner with the Project Manager to coordinate site teams, supervise subcontractors, and drive safety and excellence on site. Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installation works across the project
• Support the Project Manager in supervising site personnel and labour resources
• Ensure high standards of workmanship across all mechanical services
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Manage plant, equipment, and materials on site
• Ensure systems are completed and ready for client handover
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation
• Support training and development of apprentices and junior engineers
• Drive a collaborative and high-performance site environment
• Identify potential delays and communicate early to maintain programme delivery

Key requirements

• Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification
• Experience as Mechanical Construction Manager or Senior Mechanical Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installation
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental systems
• Experience delivering large-scale construction or engineering projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
