Customer Service Assistant (Part-Time)

Immediate Start | £12.71 per hour | Approx. 25 hours per week

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and successful local food business, for a Part-Time Customer Service Assistant to join their busy sandwich shop team.

Working Hours

• Monday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
• Tuesday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
• Thursday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm

Approx. 25 hours per week, with additional shifts available to cover holidays and busy periods. Applicants must be flexible and able to cover 6:00am starts when required.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Your Duties

• Delivering friendly and professional customer service
• Serving customers and processing transactions
• Preparing fresh sandwiches and other food products
• Assisting with general food preparation
• Cooking bacon, sausages, pork, and other products using commercial ovens
• Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive displays
• Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and hygienic
• Supporting colleagues with the day-to-day running of the shop

• Friendly, approachable, and enjoys working with customers
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Experienced in customer service, retail, hospitality, or food service (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledgeable about food hygiene practices (an advantage)
