Java / Hybris Developer

Overview

As a Java / Hybris Developer, you’ll help build and evolve a cutting-edge data-driven eCommerce platform for a luxury online retailer in London. You’ll work within a small, fast-moving team focused on modern Java, Hybris, and cloud-based solutions. The role offers paid training in Magento, Scala, or ATG, and exposure to the latest technologies. You will shape scalable features in a high-pressure environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based services and Hybris components.
• Integrate REST/SOAP APIs and work with SQL databases.
• Contribute to a cloud-based eCommerce platform and data-driven features.
• Participate in CI processes and, ideally, TDD practices.
• Engage with modern JS frameworks (AngularJS, EmberJS) and related tooling where relevant.

Key requirements

• Commercial experience with modern Java including Spring MVC
• Hybris experience
• SQL proficiency
• REST/SOAP API experience
• Ideally TDD
• Ideally JavaScript MVC frameworks (AngularJS, EmberJS)
• Node.js would be a plus
• CI experience would be a plus
