Section Engineer – Major Infrastructure Project

£500 per day Umbrella | Inside IR35Contract: September 2026 – January 2027Location: Cambridgeshire

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Cambridgeshire.

You will support the delivery of civil engineering works, working closely with the site team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing engineering activities within your section
• Setting out and surveying
• Interpreting drawings and specifications
• Supporting site planning and delivery
• Monitoring quality and progress
• Working closely with subcontractors and the wider project team

About you:

• Previous experience as a Section Engineer on major infrastructure/civil engineering projects
• Strong setting out and engineering knowledge
• Experience working to drawings and specifications
• Relevant site qualifications
